About Suriluxe
Our Story
We have been raising alpacas in Pelham, Ontario since 2001. Now we are offering amazing products made from alpaca fiber through our online store, "Suriluxe". Over the years we have raised both huacaya and suri alpacas, with huacayas being the common "fluffy" alpacas and suris being the rare breed alpacas renowned for their long silky twisted locks. Our brand name, "Suriluxe", pays homage to the rare breed suri alpaca.

Why Suri alpacas?
Suri alpacas have long lustrous locks. They make up approximately 5% of the world's alpaca population, with the vast majority living in Peru. Suri locks can be straight or twisted. We breed for the twisted lock structure and lots of lustre!

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide our customers with a wide range of alpaca products that are luxurious and ethically sourced. We pride ourselves in using alpaca fiber from Canadian farms and in using Canadian manufacturers to make our alpaca products. You've come to the right place if sustainability is important to you.

Our Selection
At Suriluxe, we carry a wide variety of socks for men and women. We also carry felted insoles and slippers made from an alpaca & wool blend that are warm, comfortable and made in Canada.

We do not have a brick and mortar store for you to visit, but we do set up booths at local artisan and craft shows throughout the year.
